It is important to know the proper brix (sugar) concentration to insure good quality control as well as controlling the correct percentage concentration level for cost control. |
General Information
Measure brix and other concentrates in the field with laboratory accuracy. As small, light and simple to use as optical refractometers but with a digital readout (0.75" LCD display) to eliminate misreadings that can occur with the optical refractometer. The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic shutoff after 3 minutes, a low battery indicator, and a low power consumption resulting in over 2,000 tests per battery. Water resistant design protects the electronics from wet environments and makes for easy clean ups. Perfect for use by grape and fruit growers and wineries as well as in the food and beverage industry. This model features automatic temperature compensation and also displays temperature in 'F and 'C, with ranges of 0-40° C or 32-104° with a resolution of 1°C and 2°F plus an accuracy of 1°C and 2°F.
