Thermoplastic sheet butt welders allow for welding two horizontal pieces together to obtain a larger sheet or to efficiently make a cylinder. An option allows for welding two pieces at a 90° angle for the fabrication of tanks or other rectangular structures. Standard size ranges are machines with 10- or 13-ft working width with thickness capabilities from 1/8" to 2-3/8". Special models are available for other applications such as corrugated, foamed or profiled sheets. Custom machines are available for the welding of UHMWPE sheet or plastic pallets.
